My wife and I just had dinner here for the first time and had a wonderful experience. Both of our meals (Mediterranean Chicken and Firinda Kuzu) were excellent and everyone working there was great company. If you're ever in the area I would definitely recommend stopping by.

Nice laid-back restaurant. This isn't an expensive restaurant; it is mid-range - and top of the line for that category. There's a variety of choices: both meat and vegetarian. We got the Aya Sofia sampler platter for our starter - it included tabbouli, hummus, grape leaves, and toasted feta rolls - gave a great sense for the variety. Service was friendly, and our waitress (Fatima) may well have even been Turkish.

Went there with a group of friends for my birthday. What a wonderful experience. Everyone loved their food. The atmosphere is always great. Big treat on Thursdays they have a belly dancer (it's a Turkish restaurant) and the dancer is a friend if my nieces who days she has known me since she was 9!!! Let's fast she's in her 30s now, so it's been a while! I had a kebhab with swordfish that was yummy, others had classic dishes also great. I'll be back again for sure!

Aya Sofia is an excellent date spot serving Turkish delicacy in St Louis. We were sitting indoors -- Love all the little booths with red curtains and pillows. Service is wonderful. Both our waitress and another server helps with the menu, water and drinks. We were so pleased. They have a wide food selection, both for meat lovers and vegetarians. What we love from our orders: 1. We tried the vegetarian moussaka. It's prepared with eggplant, roasted red peppers and a lot of vegetable goodness. This is light yet packed with lots of flavors. This is our favorite of the night. 2. our second favorite is an appetizer that has cheeses within a flour cigar. Love the melty cheese wrapped inside a crunchy wrap. 3. Toubouleh is very freshly made. We also tried the vegetarian pide and the hummus. Both are just alright -- something we perhaps won't order again. Regardless, we love this little spot we have discovered and we will be back.

Came back here again! The place and the parking lot were full on a weekend evening. There is a bank next door, for more parking spot. Food was even better than before today. Their appetizer sampler(hummus, bulghur salad, cigar borek, ezme, dolmas), borek with ground beef, baklava, manti, iskender were all highly recommended. Sad news is they don't make lahmacun anymore. (kind of like thin crust pizza with ground beef) :/ Only thing, I love ayran (yogurt drink) in general but I didn't like theirs - it was too watery, and I didn't like yogurt they used. Our waitress Işıl was friendly and helpful! This place is cozy and they have outdoor seating as well. And I'd like to check out their Belly Dance night on thursdays!

So we've been here many times, but this time we discovered their Flatbread I love all of the other food, but I had to try one of these. First things first, though... the decor here is very inviting and has a Turkish flair to it. The booths are large and comfortable. Their patio is very too...as long as it's warm outside, that is. Our service was great, and our server really knew his stuff. We started with meat pies. It's hard to explain what they were, other than delicious. Ground meat inside of a puff pastry type shell. Now to the flatbread. The one I got had cheese, sausage, and egg. It was huge. You really could share one with someone or get 2 to try the different ones. Besides the Flatbread, I recommend....Everything! Do it!!
